The Coffee Table Book has been designing wedding albums for couples since 2006, you might say quite the album design experts after more than 18 years in the Australian wedding industry.
— Deb B, Founder & Lead Designer
We have been designing wedding albums since 2006. When Australian photographers embraced digital photography in the early 2000s, we were quick to jump on the train as an independent design studio specialing in album design.
We pictured photographers handing out digital files and couples needing somewhere to get a wedding album printed outside of their chosen photographer. Maybe their wedding photographer didn’t provide wedding albums or the couple wanted a different style of wedding album to what their photographer offered.
A graphic designer specialising in wedding album design. With professional photography and design experience to create storytelling layouts. Designers with direct contact to album manufacturers to source high-end professional photo albums that the general public doesn’t have access too.
We supply the same professional-quality albums you would obtain through your photographer but with more options to choose from as wedding photo albums are our speciality.
There are countless APPs and online software services for DIY wedding albums. But their can be a huge learning curve to even get started, difficult to use, glitchy, come with limitations and dare we say a little tacky at times with the embellishment options. DIY wedding albums are not always user-friendly and can be time-consuming, proving to be overwhelming. Just one of many reasons why couples never end up printing their wedding photos.
With DIY wedding albums watch out for surprise costs after you’ve spent hours designing your album for extra pages, album cover upgrades and shipping costs.
If you make it through designing a wedding album yourself, the finished product might not live up to your expectations when it comes to quality. Quality is an important factor for a heirloom keepsake that you want to last and hand down to future generations.
Other circumstances why you might be looking to design your own album, is simply because your photographer doesn’t offer wedding albums or a particular product, limited cover options or sizes that don’t suit your style.
Before you attempt to make your own DIY wedding album, consider the pros of our wedding album design service. Hopefully our gorgeous wedding albums and features will have you thinking twice about going it alone.
