Lots! The number of photos that will comfortably fill a Family Photo Book comes down to a few things. Which size you choose — we offer a 100 page, 200 page and 300 page option. Then things like how many pages are dedicated to text, how many photos are used as full-page images or across the double-page spread. Below is a general guide:

Absolutely Yes! The Family Photo Books are custom designed for each family and can include photos and words.
No problem! We include a photo curation service as part of the photo book purchase. We will select the best images for the first design draft. We prefer to receive the entire photo gallery as that gives us more creative freedom while designing your photo book. During the review process you have the opportunity to make changes to ensure all your favourites make it in the printed copy.Â
Typically print-quality photos are 300dpi and at least 2MB or larger in size — the bigger the better. Your family photographer will provide you with a set of high-resolution .jpg images suitable for printing. Some professional photographers these days will provide you with an online photo gallery containing the high-resolution photos, so its as simple as supplying us with the link to the gallery and we can download the photos directly.Â

We don’t accept photos taken on mobile phones as they typically aren’t sufficient size or quality to print.
The pages in the Family Photo Books is acid-free, archival FSC certified uncoated paper with a silk satin finish. The cover is a heavy-weight version with a velvet-like coating giving it a sophisticated soft matte finish.
We do not offer a photo editing service. The majority of the families using our album design service have used a professional family photographer who has already supplied edited photos. Most professional photographers have contracts that protect their images under copyright laws that do not allow us to edit their photos. We print images as supplied.
Absolutely Yes, you get to review and approve your Family Photo Book design before going to print. We will provide you with a first design draft to review. This is where you have the opportunity to make changes. Two rounds of changes are included with the purchase of every photo book. We don’t go to print until you sign off and are 100% happy with the design.
Yes. Digital photos displayed on a computer monitor and mobile devices will appear different when printed. The difference occurs because of the different media used to display the images — computer monitors and mobile devices have glossy luminous screens whereas printed pages have a flat matte finish.
No. We don’t offer a DIY design APP. We are a full service design studio meaning we design your photo. book from start to finish. That includes curating your photos, design the layouts, print and deliver the bound photo book(s).
Yes! We highly encourage ordering at least an extra copy for yourselves as a safeguard and for archival purposes. Sharing copies of your photo book with your family make for a great thank you gift. We have already incorporated discounted pricing for bundle quantities in our online shop.
Yes. We archive your Family Photo Book design and photos so you can order extra copies at a later date. We do have discounted pricing for reprints so you don’t have to pay for the design again. Simply email us if you need to reprint your family photo book.
Pricing for the Family Photo Books can be easily found on our online shop HERE. Also place your order through the online shop. On placing your order, we will email a questionnaire to complete, this will provide us with any written text to help personalise your Family Photo Book.
Please allow 10-15 days for the first draft. The timeline for receiving your printed Photo Book is dependent on you and how many rounds of changes there are. Once you are 100% happy and approve your photo book design it will be printed ready for delivery. Please allow 2-3 weeks for manufacture and delivery. We ship Australia wide and internationally.
The guarantee for our Family Photo Books only extends to them being delivered in good condition. Simply because after that we have no control on how they are handled. Please keep in mind these are a photo book and perform as such. Therefore, dog ears from turning pages is a characteristic of the Photo Books and something we feel reflects the nature in which they were design to be enjoyed. The Photo Books are packaged in a box for shipping and can be continued to be stored in the box. We suggest ordering a spare so that way one can be left on your coffee table while the spare is stored in the box for safekeeping.
Our Photo Books are printed and manufactured with the utmost care and aim to deliver them in perfect condition. In the rare instant your photo book(s) arrive damaged, contact us upon receiving your order explaining the issue along with photos to show the damage, and we will endeavour to make it right.
If your Photo Book(s) aren’t as you would expect due to our mistake, such as defective workmanship, please email us immediately explaining the issue along with photo evidence and we will replace the product as soon as possible at no further cost to you.

However, if you discover a spelling error or any other error in the printed photo book(s) after approving the design, unfortunately it is too late to change it. This is why we have a rigid online proofing process in place to give you ample opportunity to review the design, proof read and make any changes. We don’t go to print until the design is approved by you.

If you have received your photo book(s) and missed picking up an error, then we are happy to help rectify the issue and reprint the photo book(s) for a discounted replacement cost being 25% off the retail price.
The design process begins as soon as your non-refundable deposit is paid. This includes curating the images and designing layouts, time behind the scenes committed to creating your Photo Book, and for that reason we cannot refund should you change your mind. Â The Family Photo Books are custom made to order, and cannot be refunded once printed.
