With hundreds of wedding photos delivered to you by your photographer, choosing the best images for your photo album can be a stressful and time-consuming task. Instead of letting this hinder your wedding album creation, our photo curation service means you can upload all your photos for us to sort through.
Our designers thoughtfully hand-pick the photos and curate your photo gallery down to a more manageable quantity that best showcases your wedding day. These are the photos our designers use in the first album design draft.
You’ll get to review the album design and request changes. You can add or remove photos from the album design. We allow ample quantity of changes to ensure you are 100% happy before your album is printed.
Our designer will curate your photo gallery down to a more manageable quantity, making sure we include all parts of the day and a variety of images of yourselves, guests and details etc, to grab an overall story of the day. Our designer will then design the pages to tell your story from our perspective. We then present you the first draft to review and this is where you have an opportunity to provide input and request changes. 3 rounds of changes are included and find this is usually ample to get the album design ready to print.
With our Photo Curation Service, you upload the full photo gallery and our designer will sift through your photos to curate the best images to tell your story.
The Coffee Table Book has been designing albums for couples like you for almost 2 decades. Over that time, our designer has built up an understanding of what images are important to couples. Bearing this in mind and the revision process, you will always be in control of what images end up in the final album design and printed album.
During the photo curation process we will select images from all sections of the day, ensuring we represent the main people, important ceremonies and details we feel are part of the memories and also help create interesting page layouts.
If there are multiple photos from a similar setting, we choose the best version based on the best technical quality, most flattering facial expression and good composition.
No problem. We know there are always going to be images that you prefer over our selection. During the review process you have the opportunity to make sure all of your favourite images are included in the design.
After photo curation, our designer starts on the page layouts. The albums include the first 10 spreads (20 pages). A spread is the entire double-page (ie. 2 pages being the left and right sides when the album is laid open). This is a starting point as every wedding is different and every couple wants different photos included in their printed album. Naturally more pages can be added to accommodate more photos up to a maximum of 45 spreads (90 pages). This approach gives the most flexibility to ensure you get the wedding album and all the photos you want included. We always design more than the 10 spreads to give what we feel is the best representation of your entire wedding day. Then during the review process our designer collaborates with you to get the design 100% to your liking before going to print.
