The photo book features a printed softcover with a contemporary cover design and modern typefaces. The pages are professionally designed like an editorial publication in a format to tell the story both through pictures and words. With 100 and 200 page editions, there is plenty of room to include all of your treasured memories. 

Lots! The number of photos that will comfortably fill a photo book comes down to a few things. Which size you choose — we offer a 100 page and 200 page edition. Also how many pages are dedicated to text, how many photos are used as full-page images or across the double-page spread. Below is a general guide:

100 page photo book : 100-200 photos
200 page photo book : 200-450 photos

Absolutely Yes! The photo books are custom designed for each client and can include photos and words. 

No problem! Our photo curation service is part of the photo book purchase. Our expert designer will thoughtfully select the best images for the first design layout. We prefer to receive the full photo gallery as that gives us more creative freedom while designing your photo book. During the review process you have the opportunity to make changes to ensure all your favourite photos are included in the design. 

Typically print-quality photos are 300dpi and at least 2MB or larger in size — the bigger the better. If you used a professional photographer, they will provide you with a set of high-resolution .jpg images suitable for printing. Most cameras will take adequate file sizes but it can depend on the settings on the camera. We don’t typically accept photos taken on mobile phones as they typically aren’t sufficient size or quality to print.

Simple send us the link to an online gallery and we can download the photos directly. 

The paper in the photo books is acid-free, archival FSC (responsibly sourced and recycled) uncoated paper with a silk/matte finish.

The photo book cover is a heavy-weight paper stock laminated with a soft-touch velvet protective finish.

No, we don’t offer a photo editing service. The majority of the couples that come to us have used a professional photographer that has already supplied edited photos. For possible image copyrights, we do not manipulate images in any way, and this includes editing the photos. We print images as supplied.

Absolutely Yes. You have ample opportunity to review and request changes. Only when you are 100% happy and approve your design will we send it to production for printing.

Yes. Images when viewed on a computer monitor or mobile phone screen will appear different because the monitor/screen is luminous, reflective and back-lit in comparison to printed photos on paper which have a flat silk/matte finish.

We integrate monitor calibration, proofing procedures and colour profiles into our printing workflow to ensure we get accurate prints from the digital files supplied. 

The photo books are printed so all colours are either true or well within tolerance. It is also important to keep in mind that we cannot change the appearance of photos on just some pages, as the magazine is printed in its entirety from the digital artwork which is the full photo book design.

Yes, bundle discounts are available. We highly encourage ordering at least an extra copy for safekeeping and archival purposes. Sharing copies of your photo book with your family make for a great thank you gift. Discounted pricing for one or more photo books can be found in our online shop.

Yes. We archive your photo book design so you can order additional copies at a later date. We do have discounted pricing for reprints so you don’t have to pay for the design again. 

Pricing for the photo books can be easily found in our online shop. On placing your photo book order, an email letting you know how to submit your images along with a questionnaire will be sent to you. This will allow you to provide us with all the details to help personalise your photo book.

Please allow 10-15 days for the first draft. The timeline for receiving your printed photo book is dependent on how many rounds of changes there are. Once you are 100% happy and approve your photo book design it will go into production to be printed. Please allow 2-3 weeks for manufacture and delivery. From approval of your design, the photo book will take up to 2-3 weeks to be printed, bound and delivered. 

Because the timeline of receiving the printed photo book is also dependent on you reviewing the design, we cannot provide an exact timeframe from start to finish. But the less back-and-forth with changes, the quicker the process will be.

Manufacture of the photo book needs to allow a certain timeframe for the ink to dry, before trimming, assembly & binding. Also the photo book cover needs time for the ink and lamination to dry before they can be trimmed, scored and bound to the internal pages. These are important steps in the manufacture process and can’t be sped up in order for us to retain the high-quality photo books we offer. Our timeframe and delivery details are specified on our Timeframe & Deliveries.

However, we do offer a priority service to jump to the head of the cue to design your photo book. This priority service does incur an additional charge as set out in our Refund & Returns Policy. The priority service does not impact the manufacture process as aforementioned. The priority service just enables jumping to the head of the queue in the design stage and speeds up the delivery.

The guarantee for our photo books only extends to them being delivered in good condition. Simply because after that we have no control on how they are handled.

Please keep in mind they perform like any photo book you would buy in a shop. Therefore, dog ears from turning pages is a characteristic of the photo book and something we feel reflects the book has been enjoyed and loved.

The photo book is packaged in a box for shipping and can be continued to be stored in the box. We suggest ordering a spare so that way one can be left on your coffee table while the spare is stored in the box for safekeeping. We retain the artwork for your photo book design in our archives for an unlimited timeframe, therefore reprints of your photo book can be ordered at any time.

Our photo books are printed and manufactured with the utmost care and aim to deliver them in perfect condition. In the rare instant your photo book(s) arrive damaged, contact us immediately upon receiving your order explaining the issue along with photos showing the damage, and we will endeavour to make it right.

If your photo book(s) aren’t as you would expect due to our mistake, such as defective workmanship, please email us immediately explaining the issue along with photo evidence and we will investigate. If we deem there has been an error and we are at fault, we will replace the product as soon as possible at no further cost to you.

However, if you discover a spelling error or any other error in the printed photo book(s) after approving the design, unfortunately it is too late to change it. This is why we have a rigid online review process in place to give you ample opportunity to review the design, proof read and make any changes. We don’t go to print until the design is approved by you.

If you have received your photo book(s) and missed picking up an error, then we are happy to help rectify the issue and reprint the photo book(s) for a discounted replacement cost at 25% off the retail price.

The design process begins as soon as your non-refundable payment is received. This includes curating the image gallery and designing layouts, time behind the scenes committed to creating your photo book. And for that reason we cannot cancel your order once payment has been received.

No. As your photo book is custom made to order, we don’t accept returns. 

Prior to finalising your photo book design and sending it off to be printed, you’ll have multiple revision rounds to ensure you are 100% happy with your design.

We quality check all photo books before leaving the studio. In the rare instant your photo book is damaged in the post or there is a mistake in the photo book due to an oversight/error on our part  (something that you did not approve), then we will replace your photo book for free, at no additional cost.
