The Wedding Magazine Concept
The concept behind the Wedding Magazine was to be able to firstly include a lot more photos than your traditional wedding album, but to also be able to incorporate written content and for that written content to be laid out by a graphic designer had touched each page as an editorial piece, producing a professionally designed publication.

For example written content could include; How We Met and the Proposal stories, the guest list, sentimental speeches and excerpts from meaningful lyrics, and even things like supplier credits. All important details with much time and consideration was taken in choosing the dream team involved in the couple’s big day celebrations.

Explore how we bring together the photos and written content in a variety of story-driven layouts over the 300 pages that celebrate the joy of this fun, colourful wedding.
We use a variety of layouts, some with full double-page spread images and full page images to feature hero images and big moments, while others contain multiple images to tell a story with a series or several images on the page.
We aren’t going to share all the page designs, but below are just some of our favourites and ones we feel are the best layouts that demonstrate how the wedding day story is inter-woven with photos and written copy.
This magazine is a great example of how to scatter written stories among the photos to tell more of the couples story by including their How We Met and Proposal stories, sentimental speeches from family and friends, to the wedding supplier credits to wrap up the design, and so much more to create a truly unique and personal keepsake.
A fateful moment at Lambys Tavern in which Amber approached Scott. They spent hours talking that night which captured Scott's attention. After a period of time as "Friends" whilst Amber was traveling overseas, she returned and they continued to get to know each other, before becoming boyfriend and girlfriend 6 months later.
The couple’s Proposal story
Scott and Amber traveled to Europe and on the first night of their trip Scott proposed at the Eiffel Tower in front of Amber's parents. He had taken everyone by surprise (except her dad, whom he had asked permission), they all celebrated the night away. A week later they met up with Scott's family in Italy and surprised them with their news.
