What is the purpose of a wedding album?

What is the wedding album design service?

You’ll save hours by having an experienced designer create the album, exactly as you envisioned your day unfolding. We understand putting an album together can be an intimidating task:

Making a wedding album to hold all your treasured memories that will stand the test of time is an important decision. Determining how many photos you want to include? How to achieve a wedding album design that will be timeless? What will the album cover look like? All questions we can help answer and deliver. Our wedding album design service includes photo curation and designing beautiful page layouts using your wedding photography. You still get to review the design and make changes to ensure all your favourite wedding photos are included. We will collaborate with you to ensure you are 100% happy before going to print.

How much does professional album design cost?

All our photo albums include album design because we believe every couple deserves to have a professionally designed album. We also believe its beneficial to step away from designing the album yourself to enjoy the finished album without the frustrations that may arise from the time consuming task of selecting your favourite images or figuring out how to use design software. We will happily receive your complete set of images and curate them down to a more manageable quantity. Then allow our design team to put together a first draft of your album. All designs include ample revisions, to ensure you’re perfectly happy with the design before the album is sent to print. The cost of the album depends on how many pages are included in the album, you’ll find all the costs in our price guide.

I’m not sure what album cover would look best with my photos?

No problem, we’re happy to help guide you. Give us an indication of the style or aesthetic you like, or let our design team surprise you with some options on what that they think would work well with your wedding photos. We’ll work with you until we find something you really love.

Can I make changes to my wedding album design before it goes to print?

Absolutely Yes! During the review process you have ample opportunity to request changes. Once you’re completely happy with the design, we require any final payments owing and then the album design is sent off to be printed.

How many revisions are included?

While most customers are happy with the design after 2-3 rounds, your wedding album is an investment and its important to us that you are 100% happy. We’ll continue to make changes for reasonable requests until you are happy.

Can I add or remove photos once the design process has started?

Yes. While we include an initial photo curation as part of the service, our 20 years experience means we have built up a good understanding of what images are important to couples, and usually helps minimise unnecessary back and forth with changes, but we will happy add or remove photos from the design during the review process.

Is it possible to make changes or design the album myself?

We are a design studio so no we don’t allow clients to make changes or design the album. Our past couples love having an experienced photo album designer’s help. If you prefer having more control over the process, a DIY solution that offers templates is probably better suited to your needs.

How long does the design process take?

Our designer will have your first draft to you within 10-15 business days. After this, it depends on how fast you can send us your feedback, change requests are generally made within 5 business days. Once your album design is approved, manufacture takes 3-4 weeks plus delivery.
