Lay-flat binding is a traditional technique, making the sturdy, thick pages perfect for displaying images across the double-page spread without losing details in the centre.
The binding style allows photos to be printed through the crease in the centre of the spread offering a seamless visual flow. This allows for uninterrupted panoramic and landscape images to run across the double-page spread as well as edge-to-edge printing.
With two decades of experience, we’ve narrowed down the paper selection to a white fine art paper with a smooth surface which produces brilliant prints.
The fine art paper is an archival, heavy-weight and sturdy paper with a matt finish, giving a modern high-end professional finish without the annoying glare or reflective finish of a satin or gloss paper.
On request, we can print your album using a smooth satin paper if you prefer.

The digital printing technology enables brilliant colour and stunning black & white print quality with consistent results.
To achieve results near to your images, we use the RGB colour profile with the widest colour gamut. The result is brilliant, saturated colours with smoother skin tones and gradients.
Your images are printed as supplied. We do not colour correct or edit your images. Colour correction and editing is usually performed by your photographer and due to copyright we are not allowed to edit a photographers images.
Your images might appear slightly different when printed than when viewed on a screen due to the differences between onscreen viewing which produce a more luminous, glossy effect compared with printed images which are more flat. You might experience the images to be slight darker or less saturated.
Images need to be supplied as high-resolution print-ready files, but we will inspect the files as part of our done-for-you design service to ensure they are of a suitable quality for printing.
