A Magical Alpine Wedding Hot Off The Press — Bespoke Wedding Magazine
Adele and Thomas’s alpine wedding on Treble Cone in Wanaka, featured the stunning Queenstown lake and iconic snow-capped peaks as the backdrop to their special day.
The day started with the couple along with family and friends making the trek to the snow-capped peaks (in appropriate cold-weather snow gear) for an intimate ceremony on top of the snowy mountains. Following the kiss they celebrated with a showering of snow and hugs from their loved ones.
And it wouldn’t be a proper celebration without a champagne ‘pop and spray’ by the groom, borrowing from traditions like those seen in Formula 1 racing, where winners spray champagne to celebrate victory. A fun way to kick off the wedding with a bang.
Followed by an epic ceremony exit, popping on their skis and skiing off down the mountain.
Then it was time for the more formal wedding. Changing outfits, the bride wore a stunning white dress and the groom in a charcoal suit.
Heading out for photos around with the beautiful scenery as their backdrop. Before joining their guests for a second ceremony, a little more civilised for those not wanting to get on their ski outfits and ski down a mountain. They celebrated the afternoon away in a beautiful reception venue overlooking the lake and the snowy mountains in the distance.
The couple choose our wedding magazine to print their wedding photos, where we could truly tell their magical day in a variety of full pages and double pages to show off their stunning images and gorgeous landscapes. We scattered stories of how they met, the proposal and other written content throughout the magazine pages.
A truly stunning keepsake for a very scenic alpine wedding.
